You're in Control
At Micah, we believe you should have complete control over your personal data. This page explains how you can access, manage, and delete your information at any time through the Micah mobile app.
Overview: Your Data Management Options
Micah provides two main options for managing your data:
Delete Specific Data
Remove specific types of content (conversations, readings, or documents) while keeping your account active.

After Deletion: What Happens Next?
Immediate Deletion
Your account and data are deleted immediately from our active systems. You'll be logged out of the app and will not be able to sign in again with those credentials.
Backup Retention
Some data may persist in backup systems for up to 90 days for disaster recovery purposes, after which it is automatically purged.
Active Subscriptions
If you have an active subscription through Google Play or Apple App Store, you should separately cancel your subscription to avoid being charged. Account deletion does not automatically cancel subscriptions.
• iPhone/iPad: Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Micah → Cancel
• Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Micah → Cancel
Creating a New Account
You can create a new account at any time using the same or different email address. However, you will not be able to recover any data from your deleted account.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I recover my account after deletion?
No. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. We cannot recover deleted accounts or data. If you're unsure, consider using the "Delete Specific Data" option instead.
Why can't I delete my account via email?
For security reasons, account deletion must be performed by you directly through the app while authenticated. This ensures that only you can delete your account and prevents unauthorized deletions.
How long does deletion take?
Deletion is immediate from active systems. You'll be logged out right away. Some data may remain in backup systems for up to 90 days before being permanently purged.
Will I get a refund for my subscription?
Refund policies are determined by Google Play or Apple App Store, not Micah. Account deletion does not automatically result in a refund. Contact Apple or Google support regarding refund requests.
Can I export my data before deleting?
Currently, data export features are in development. If you need a copy of your data, please contact us at support@applifi.io before deleting your account, and we'll assist you.
What if I'm having issues with the app?
